Specific requirements: ACU has a university core curriculum that is meant to encourage students to consider their Christian faith. As part of the two courses Core, there are five interdisciplinary themes – which mean that professors from different backgrounds teach them together. Mandatory freshman courses: No mandatory freshman course, although they do have Learning Communities where they put people in the same major. It allows people with similar interests to take courses together and get to know each other.

Freshman living options: They have three regular dorms and two apartment-style dorms.

Cool programs: The engineering and sciences programs receive the best funding, and they are the newest programs on campus. There is a lot of new research done on campus, and upperclassmen have the opportunity to do research.

Other interesting information! Division I football team. It’s a very nice community, and so much of UTSA is brand new. The gym offers many cool programs for free, including massages and nutrition courses.
