Specific requirements: ACU has a university core curriculum that is meant to encourage students to consider their Christian faith. As part of the two courses Core, there are five interdisciplinary themes – which mean that professors from different backgrounds teach them together. Those themes are: Truth, Identity, Community, Transcendence, and Vocation. Students must also take 5 courses on different subjects within the Bible. Additionally, ACU has a mandatory daily chapel that all students and faculty attend.
Mandatory freshman courses: Freshmen will have to take core classes, but there is no specific freshman seminar.
Freshman living options: There aren’t any special housing accommodations that relate to the seminars you’re taking. However, it is important to note that the housing is strictly divided into male and female dorms. They do not mix males and females – some students like this, and others don’t. What about you?
Requirements for a minor: None.
